Centreville - Our Community
The village of Centreville thrives on industry. Per capita, we are the industry capital of New Brunswick. The companies that give Centreville this status are B.W.S., Thomas Equipment and Metalfab.
Along with industry, Centreville hosts three churches within its village limits, these are the St. James Anglican Church, St. Pauls United Church and Centreville Baptist Church. There are serveral more churches of various denominations in the surrounding Centreville areas.
There are many non-profit organizations in the community which work to serve the residents. These include the Royal Canadian Legion, Ladies Auxilary, Kinsmen & Kinnettes Club, Elks and Royal Purple, Women’s Institute, Centreville Child Care and the Centreville Access Centre. All of which help to make the community better.
The Centreville Community School plays an important role to the community and surrounding areas, as it houses students from inside and outside the village limits. The students are well known for their academic and athletic leadership. Each year the students are involved in a drama production which is performed at the annual New Brunswick Drama Festival. The Centreville Chamber of Commerce supports the school drama group as well as the adult Dinner Theatre group.
Our locally owned stores provide friendly and personal service. If you are looking for a place to stay, there are also two local bed and breakfast. The Tracey Mills Inn/Bed and Breakfast is located 3km from the centre of town, and the Cedarbrook Bed and Breakfast on highway 560 just outside of Centreville.
For recreation, we’ve got a great ball park, heated outdoor swimming pool and basketball court. For more information about the village and its resources available to you, feel free to contact the village office at (506) 276-3671 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
